Week 4 - Walls are going up!  It's getting pretty exciting, and again, at the end of the week, we got tarpped just in time for the Friday 4pm downpour!   STILL DRY!

 The kitty figured out how to climb the ladder, and is checking out the hole in the ceiling!

 Week 3 - some less visible work being done, like plumbing rough-in, and taking off 2 layers of old siding!

We are all tarpped and ready for rain, and the framing crew has the week off.

 Day 10 - Floors are getting some plywood, and so are the walls.

Day 9: The Back Room takes shape

 Day 9 - we got the foam insulation around the perimeter of the new floor, and the new back room is really taking shape today.   The view from the back door will be perfect.

Day 8: Forms off, and a new wall

 Day 7 was our day of rest.

Day 8, the forms were removed, and the back room has gained a new wall.

Day 6: Concrete Pour

 Today we cleaned up the driveway, to make way for the concrete truck, and the pour of the remaining foundation walls went well.

Day 5: Tarp & Forms

We have no rain in the forecast, the weather is cooperating beautifully, but we are tarped just in case.   Most of the siding has been removed, and the concrete forms were being completed for the pour coming on Saturday.

I added power and a light, so that we can still work up there, and it is SO COOL, except that is a SAUNA up there!  I have yet to measure the temperature...

Day 4: Floor Ply is going down...

Most of the floor ply is down, except for near the edges, where we need to take care of some insulation and plumbing rough-in before it gets closed.

Day 3 - Floor Trusses are on!

 Day 2 was spent leveling and cleaning up all the debris to have a flat surface to work on, and the bin got picked up.  Bye-bye roof.

Day 3: the floor trusses were put on, up to the end of the existing house, but not including the new back addition.

Day 1: We took off the roof!
